Hi Michele, I thought you might like to see how much Scooby, now Cody, has grown. He really is very handsome. We've been to three weeks of obedience school now and I'll let you know how that goes after a few more sessions. Stephanie Wow, so much time has gone by already since I've posted. Scooby Doo went to an awesome ranch home in Montrose Colorado!!!
His friends have all gone to their new homes too. Scooby Dee is in an agility home in Greeley, CO. Daphne lives with people who run and own the Colorado Adventure Center in Glenwood Springs - should have fun, hey? Shaggy lives with their son in the same town. Velma lives with 2 wonderful little girls in Colorado Springs and Fred lives in Highlands Ranch with a fabulous family that just got married! I'm thrilled with all the homes the puppy's have now! We have a new litter, 3 weeks old, sired by our little Champion Indy out of our Grand Champion top 10 female, Lucy. We already have about 5 deposits on that litter so don't miss out! WOWMASC is having a show in Torrington, Wyoming on August 29. WE are doing conformation, rally, obedience and disc that day - would love visitors! See www.wowmasc.com for more info The puppies have had so many visitors the past few weeks! They have met lots of new people and children, even other puppies. They are not afraid of any of it. They are now being individually crate trained at night, they go through the doggy door, next is collars. WE are going over grates, bridges, tarps, wobble boards, and playing with singing dancing, noisy toys, chasing ducks, all kinds of things. Next weekend we do the personality tests and match them to new homes, can't believe how fast the time went. Didn't get one of the pups? It's ok, we have more coming soon. Please check the site for details.
Scooby has a new home! Unfortunately it wasn't a co-own home but he went to a wonderful pet home. Stephanie and Scooby will have a great life together!!! He will live mostly on a ranch in Montrose, Colorado where he will get to do lots of fun things. Now on to his friends: Shaggy is so sweet and laid back. He's the largest in the litter weighing in at 7 lbs at 6 weeks plus 1 day. We are really liking his attitude, attentiveness and structure and may want him in a co-own home for future breeding. Fred is a silly boy - I think we messed up the names of the boys - the characters in the cartoon - Shaggy should have been Fred - mature, serious and Fred should have been Shaggy - silly and active. Fred weighed in at 6 lbs 2 oz. Of the girls, Scooby Dee is quite a character. She figured out how to jump in the food bin and get a few bites, then jump out - the boys are still trying to figure out how she got that done as the smallest in the litter, weighing in at 5 lbs even. She did not let Scooby Doo get away with anything while he was here. Velma is between them all in activity/energy level. She's afraid of nothing, active but has a great off switch. She weighed 5 lb 10 oz. Daphne is gorgeous and sweet - more laid back of the girls but a bit afraid of new things so we are working on her confidence. She does like to chase the ducks though. She weighed 5 lb 9 oz.
The whole litter may have homes but we won't know until we do the personality matches. We have plenty of deposits but that doesn't mean they will match so there could be a pup left over after next Friday - I will update the site so check that out if you are interested. |
